Studentergaarden is a hall of residence for students of higher education. It is located near the center of Copenhagen, Denmark. The building was completed in 1923. Most residents actively partake in social and cultural activities. The many traditions that have arisen throughout Studentergaardens long lifetime are still practiced.
There are 126 single rooms, which vary in size from 12 to 27 square meters. Each room has a washbasin. The kitchen, toilets and showers are shared by a corridor of 10-13 people. There are no double rooms, only single rooms. The rooms are unfurnished, but there is communal furniture one can borrow, so it is often possible to furnish a room.
The rent is DKR 2150 per month, which includes heat, electricity, water, telephone subscription and internet. There is a phone and internet connection in every room. You also have to pay 50-80 kr. a month for newspapers, spices and other communal items. There is a deposit of two month's rent.
